Margaret was born in 1899 in Halliwell.1   Margaret's father was Herbert Pryce Jones and her mother was Esther Jane Horrocks.  Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Horrocks and Jane Dewhurst. She had a sister named Annie.  She was the younger of the two known children.
