  • John Mather a weaver & Mary Johnson married at Manchester Cathederal in 1836.  James Johnson was a witness.
    
    John and Mary Mather (20 & 30), were at Plikington in 1841 with Sarah Ann (2) and Ann Johnson (30).  It could be that this is another couple, brother and sister!
    
    In 1861, John and Mary (39 & 48) were at Little Ireland, Piklington with their niece Elizabeth E Harper (17) and Emma Harper (14); a HARPER+SANDIFORD family.
