Betty was the daughter of Jonathan Jepson, a clothier and Martha Beaumont (1796 1871). Jabez's parents (Jabez and Martha) were living at 1518 Berry Brow in 1841.
In 1841, Betty was 20 with her parents Johnathan, a woollen weaver, and Martha (both 45) at Berry Brow, Almondbury. She has a younger sister Martha (12).
She married Samuel Brook in 1845.
Samuel (69) was married to Elizabeth (70) in 1891. They were living at 5 Market Street, North Meols with their son John W Brook (33 and married)
