Mary was born on August 8th, 1831 in Llanbrynmair and her christening took place there on August 28th, 1831.¹²

  Lil Mercer's Brithday book has Mrs Hopwood born 13/03/?
  Presume Ephrain's Mother and died aged 88.
  Therefore born 13/3/1833
  
  Cannot find any Llanbrynmair births for 13-MAR but Mary Howell was born there in 1831

  I cant find a Mary Hopwood, who died aged 88. Also, there is no Mary in Birkenhead in 1911, so maybe she died earlier. She is not with any of her children in 1911, even though Arthur is still living in Birkenhead and single.
  
  There is a death in Birkenhead in 1904 which is a good match (although shoulkd be over 72 by then):
