John son of Giles and Betty Howarth of Blackburn, Inkeeper was baptised 1722. Giles Haworth of Blackburn, Innkeeper died in June 1780 (see probate), so cant be son of our Giles unless he lived to 101 !
I cant find a marriage for a Giles and Betty or Elizabeth. Perhaps Mary had died and Giles retired from Lower Darwen to become an Inn Keeper, or more likely be another Giles. There is no death record for Giles's first son John!
