Jenet was born on May 17th, 1656 and her baptism took place on May 18th, 1656 at St. Mary-the-Virgin (Blackburn).1  Jenet's father was Ralph Haworth and her mother was <unknown>. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Abraham, Ralph, Lawrence, Ann, Margaret and Jane.  She was the second oldest of the seven children.
