Elizabeth was born about 1735 in Heapey.  Elizabeth's father was John Howarth and her mother was Mary Howarth. She had four brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Thomas, John, George and Ellen.  She was the oldest of the six children.  She died in December 1740 in Heapey.
