Margaret's father was William Hopwood and her mother was (Mary) Anne Codre. She had four brothers and a sister, named Edward, John, Francis, Thomas and Jane. She was the third oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 2 on November 19th, 1833 in Mold.¹
