- 1776, James Holt and Susannah Howarth married. In 1779 another James Holt and Ann Holt married and had son George the same year, also from Turton.
  
  After they married thay may have lived in Bamford and had Molly (1777), James (1779), Robert (1781), Ann (1784) all baptised St Luke, Heywood. However there is also John (1785) after they were at Walmsley so this may be another.
  
  22 Nov 1783 they lived at Rock Turton when Esther was baptised. By 1778 they were at Goose Cote Hill when William was baptised.
