Magdalena (Dorris) Dorothea Elizabeth Heuer

Magdalena, known as Dorris, was born in June 1840 in Hannover.¹

Dorris' father was George Heuer and her mother was <unknown>. She had a brother and a sister, named Heinrich and Margaret. She died at the age of 32 on July 14th, 1872 in West Derby. Her burial was in July 1872 at the Anfield Cemetery.²³

  In 1871, "Doris" and Christopher (30 & 26) are living at 44 Epsom St., Liverpool (Scotland Ward). With them are daughter Doris (3) and three lodgers July Dittmer (24) and Johann and Lewis Meyer (24 & 22) all from Hannover.
  
  A Hannover brth of Catharine Dorothea Elisabeth Dittmer (Lutheran) of 26 Oct 1867 has the father as Johann Heinrich Christoph Dittmer and mother Anna Dorothea Dittmer, so this is another possible daughter if Anna Dorothea is the same person.
  
  The birth certificate for her daughter Dorris shows the mothers name as Magdalena Dorothea Elizabeth Heuer, so when she died, it appears that J H Dittmer may have married her sister.
  
  Dorothea Dittmer is buried at Anfield with her infant son George Frederick and also Margaret Elizabeth Dittmer from Johann's second marriage, but each in different graves (grave 1261, 1176 and 145).
