Mary was born on October 22nd, 1868 in Breightmet.¹ Mary's father was John Haslam and her mother was Alice Rothwell. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Haslam and Ann Horridge. She died at the age of 76 on July 25th, 1945 in Bolton.
