Mary was born on March 12th, 1642.  Mary's father was Benjamin Grimshaw and her mother was Elizabeth Hollenworth.  Her paternal grandparents were William Grimshaw and Sibbell Marshall. She had two sisters named Mercy and Martha.  She was the oldest of the three children.
