Ellen Fidler

Ellen was born in 1819 in Bosden.¹

Birth Notes
- Hellen in 1861, 10 years older than Joseph.
  
  Recorded as "Elen", aged 52 and 62 in 1871 and 1881, but was "Hellen" in 1861. Perhaps they dropped their H's as they spoke back in those days, or the enumerator didnt hear clearly.

She died at the age of 72 in September 1891 in Stockport.²

- Still alive in 1891, but cant be found on the 1901 census, so presumed died.

General Notes
- Ellen had her mother living with her in 1861 at 6 Nelson Street, Hazel Grove in 1861
  
  Living at Hazel Grove in 1881. Sister-in-Law of Samuel After Ann died, Ellen, who had no children of her own lived at Samuel's house (in 1881). After he died, Ellen and Joseph continued to look after Samuel Fidler junior (in 1891).
