Martha was born in June 1786 in Farnley Tyas and her baptism took place on June 5th, 1786 in Almondbury.1  Martha's father was George Eastwood and her mother was Lydia Schofield. She had two brothers and a sister, named Joseph, John and Hannah.  She was the third oldest of the four known children.
