Herman (24, Clerk) from Germany was boarding at 30 Percy Street in Liverpool in 1881, with several other Germans including Herman Meyer.
There is no evidence Herman is related to any of the other Liverpool Dittmers, other than they are all related and from Hannover State.
Herman, is the likely son of Hermann Dittmer (a tailor) and Dorthea Haseler who married in Liverpool in 1852. He may be part of the larger Dittmer family that came to Liverpool from Germany in the 1800s.
