Ann was born on June 16th, 1824 in Pentrobin and her baptism took place on August 15th, 1824 in Hawarden.1  Ann's father was John Davies and her mother was Elizabeth Parry.  Her paternal grandparents were Edward Davies and Rachel Millington. She had a brother and two sisters, named John, Jane and Ethel.  She was the youngest of the four children.

‌Ann and Thomas were married in a religious ceremony on December 7th, 1844 in Chester.2   The family line is yet to be completed.
