Ann was born in 1827 in Holme and her baptism took place on April 29th, 1827 in Holmfirth.1  Ann's father was Charles Crosland and her mother was Hannah Garlick. She had a sister named Mary.  She was the older of the two children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named James and Sarah.
