General Notes
Father "Richard Crowshaw" (or Crawshaw)
In 1851, William and Alice (30 & 26) were at Bradshaw Chapel. Richard was a Block Printer. They had two sons Richard and Robert (5 & 2), and Alice's young sister Jane (22) and nephew Rueben (1).
In 1861, William and Alice (40 & 36) were with Richard (7) only.
The family moved to Nuttall, Tottington Lower End where in 1881 there was William (60) with Peter, Sarah A and James (22,19, and 17), all born Nuttall (and registered at Holcombe, Bury.
In May 1866, William and Alice Crawshaw (42 & 41) travelled to Quebec with their daughters Emma and May (14 & 6)
In 1871, soon after Alice died, William (50) was with Elen West (44), his oldest son Richard (25) and 5 other children.

William and Alice were married in a religious ceremony on April 8th, 1844 at St. Peter's (Bolton) witnessed by Joseph Mather & James Booth.3
