Mary Constantine

Mary was born in 1856 in Heapey and her baptism took place there on June 8th, 1856.¹²

Mary's father was Daniel (David) Constantine and her mother was Sarah Lever. She had a brother and a sister, named James and Martha. She was the youngest of the three children. She died at the age of 72 in March 1928 in Bolton.³

General Notes
- After Dainel died, mary inherited the bleaching business. She married Edmund Cort, a bankers clerk and her fathers executor in 1889 and in 1891 Edmund is recorded as a bleacher employing hundreds of men.
