In 1841, Peter and Betty Smith (50 & 45) were living at Kersley Mill, Farnworth. With them were Jane Haslam (25) and her four Haslam children.
In 1851 the grandchildren were with Peter Smith and Betty had gone, presumed died.
Betty and Samuel were married in a religious ceremony on March 15th, 1819 in Manchester.
