Alexander Cleghorn 
Alexander was born in 1907 in Sunderland.1 Alexander's father was James Cleghorn and his mother was Mary Kellet Halfnight Dalton. His maternal grandparents were James Dalton and Isabella Summers. He had a brother and two sisters, named Charles, Sarah and Mary. He was the second youngest of the four known children.
