Mary was born in 1726 in Saddleworth and her baptism took place on January 6th, 1726 at St. Marys (Oldham).1  Mary's father was James Buckley Jnr and her mother was Sarah Cooper. She had two brothers and four sisters, named William, Benjamin, Bette, Sarah, Anne and Mary.  She was the second oldest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 9 in July 1735 in Oldham.  She was buried on July 31st, 1735 at St. Marys (Oldham).1
