17 Oct 1852, Betty Hardman, 65, widow, daughter of Thomas Brooks, married James Mather at Bury. Both lived at Crosten's, Bury (probably Crostons, Elton) at time of marriage.
In 1871, Betty Mather (89, Widow) was living at 41 Falcon Street, Little Bolton with with Thomas Roscow (59) and his daughters Sarah Ann (24) and Susannah (21). Thomas was her son-in-Law.
