William was born in December 1725 in Farndon and his baptism took place on December 20th, 1725 at St. Chad (Farndon).1  William's father was William Brereton and his mother was Jane Pate. He had two brothers named Thomas and John. He had an adopted brother named William.  He died in December 1725 in Farndon.  He was buried on December 21st, 1725 at St. Chad (Farndon).1
