Jane was born in February 1780 in Tilston, St Mary and her baptism took place on February 6th, 1780 at St. Boniface (Bunbury).1  Jane's father was <unknown> and her mother was Hannah Brereton.  Her maternal grandparents were Samuel Brereton and Sarah Shone.
