Vincent was born in 1642 in St Martin, Ile De Re, La Rochelle, France and his christening took place there in 1642.  Vincent's father was François Verdon and his mother was Jeanne Montaize.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 45 on November 14th, 1687 in Sillery, Québec, Canada.
