François was born in 1704 in Baie-St-Paul, Qc, Canada and his christening took place on September 1st, 1704.  François' father was Daniel-François Perron and his mother was Marie-Louise Gargottine.  His paternal grandparents were François Perron and Jeanne Suire; his maternal grandparents were Jacques Gargottine and Françoise Bernard. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Antoine, Pierre, Jean, Marie, Marie-Madeleine, Anne and Hélène.  He died at the age of 51 on December 17th, 1755 in Petite-Rivière-St-Francois, Qc, Canada.
