Abraham Martin

Abraham was born in 1589 in Larochelle, Perche, France. Abraham's father was Jean Martin and his mother was Isabelle Côté. He was an only child. He died at the age of 75 on September 8th, 1664 in Québec,. His burial was on September 8th, 1664 in Québec,.

  Les titres des deux fermes qu'il a possédées se trouvent dans les archives des Ursulines . L'importance historique des fermes d'Abraham n'est venue que longtemps après sa mort. Ce n'est que le 12 septembre 1759 que l'armée de Wolfe a grimpé sur les terres d'Abraham et y a rencontré l'arméee de Montcalm. Le champ de battaille est devenu notoire plus tard sous le nom de Plaines d'Abraham.
