Jacques was born in 1638 in Meaux, Champaissant, Mamers, France.  Jacques' father was Fiacre Dodier and his mother was Catherine Melenel.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 39 on December 7th, 1677 in Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré, Montmorency, Qc, Canada.
