Antoine was born on February 26th, 1673 in Québec, and his christening took place there on February 26th, 1673.  Antoine's father was Nicolas Buteau and his mother was Catherine Gichelin.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 63 on October 18th, 1736 in St-Joachim, Montmorency, Qc, Canada.
