Guillaume was born on January 12th, 1682 in St-Jouin-de-Marnes, Deux-Sèvres, France.  Guillaume's father was Antoine Boily and his mother was Antoinette-Françoise Bertrand.  His maternal grandparents were Pierre Bertrand and Nicole Poirier.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 82 on February 16th, 1764 in Baie-St-Paul, Qc, Canada.
