לוי was born in 2195. לוי's father was יעקב ישראל and his mother was לאה. His paternal grandparents were יצחק and רבקה; his maternal grandfather was לבן. He was the third of seven children. He had five brothers and a sister, named ראובן, שמעון, יהודה, יששכר, זבולון and דינה. He had six half-brothers named גד, אשר, דן, נפתלי, יוסף and בנימין. He died, at the age of 137, in 2332.
