Jehoiakim (The Lord raiseth up. King of Judah (609-598 BC), originally called Eliakim. He was the son of Josiah, king of Judah, and was brother of Zedekiah. He was not a faithful ruler and burned the manuscript of one of the pro pheciesof Jeremiah.
