Della was born on February 16th, 1888. Della's father was James W. Dye and her mother was Louisa McFee. Her paternal grandparents were Dusoway Dye and Mary Elizabeth Board. She had two brothers and seven sisters, named Infant, Lewis, Ezra, Esther, Estella, Elaine, Ethel, Elsie and Beatrice. She died at the age of 73 on March 23rd, 1961.
