Longshanks and Eleanor of Castile were married on November 1st, 1254 in Las Huelgas convent, near Burgos, Castile.1  They had four sons and nine daughters, named John of England, Henry of England, Alphonso of England, Edward II, Katherine of England, Joan of England, Eleanor of England, Beatrice of England, Joan of Acre, Margaret of England, Berengaria of England, Mary of England and Elizabeth.
