Martin Ashley Shipman 
Martin was born in 1859.1 Martin's father was Frederick Plummer Shipman and his mother was Lucinda Drake. His maternal grandparents were Jesse Drake and Rosalinda J. Ashley. He had a brother and two sisters, named Elias, Margaret and Lois. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 41 in 1900.1 General Notes
