Amelia, known as Amy, was born on May 10th, 1846 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.1   Amy's father was Charles Smith and her mother was <Unknown>.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 69 on April 10th, 1916 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.  She was buried on April 12th, 1916 at the Edgewood Cemetery, Ashtabula, Ohio.1 1
