Laura Augusta Drake 
Laura was born on March 8th, 1853 in Venango, Crawford County, Pennsylvania.1 Laura's father was Hibbard Drake and her mother was Azuba Beach. Her paternal grandparents were Dean Drake and Polly Bontz. She had two brothers and three sisters, named George, William, Mary, Frances and Elmeda. She was the oldest of the six children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, and also a half-sibling of unknown gender, named Dennis, Bertha, Eunice and ____. She died at the age of 11 on December 6th, 1864.1 General Notes
