George Drake 
George was born on October 29th, 1815 in Norwich, Windsor County, Vermont.1 George's father was Ede Drake and his mother was Hannah Seavy. His paternal grandparents were Abijah Drake Jr and Lucy Whitcomb. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named William, Ede, Laura, Rosanna, Ervilla, Betsey, Selina, Jemima and Hannah. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 73 on April 28th, 1889 in Aurora, Illinois, USA. He was buried on April 30th, 1889 in West Aurora Cemetery, Aurora Twp, Kane Co., Illinois.1 1 General Notes
