Josef Jehuda SZEPS

Josef was born in 1898 in Lodz, Poland. Josef's father was Menachem (Mendel) SZEPS and his mother was Rosa Ryfka SCHWARTZMANN. His paternal grandparents were Moshe/Mosiek (Jankel) Yakov/Jakow SZEPS and Minna “Minka” GLIKSMAN. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Samuel, Zew, Gutka and Zosia. He died by execution at the age of 42 in 1940 in Katyn forest, Russia.
