Alegra Behora “Simkha” SARANO

Alegra, known as Simkha, was born in 1874 in Izmir, Turkey.  Simkha's father was Avraham “Avrum” SARANO and her mother was Regina “Reyna” ESTRUGO.  Her paternal grandparents were Moshe Behor SARRANO and Unnamed; her maternal grandparents are Eliyahu ESTRUGO and Unnamed. She had a brother and a sister, named Salomone and Matilde.  She died due to a medical problem at the age of 70 in 1944 in Mombaroccio, Italy.
