Behora was born before 1857 in Smyrna, Turkey. Behora's father was Efraim Raphael Behor TARANTO and her mother was Perla Behora BERESIT. Her paternal grandparents were Tchelibi (Haham Shalem) Itzhak TARANTO and Sultana ALGRANATE; her maternal grandparents were Raffaele BERESIT and Esther ABOAF. She had two brothers named Ben and Isaac. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died in 1933 in Rhodes.-
