Lajzer was born on April 19th, 1843 in Piotrkow Trybunalski, Poland. Lajzer's father was Arye EJBUSZYC and his mother was Złata Rywka PACANOWSKI. His paternal grandparents were Nathan Nata EJBUSZYC and Unnamed; his maternal grandparents were Eleazar Salomon “Lejzer” PACANOWSKI and Gila JACHYMOWICZ. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named Nathan, Abram, Gavriel, Jonas, Izrael, Zusman, Yacob, Aron, Szyfra and Chana. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.-
