Rabbi Meir “Baba Meir” ABUCHAZERA

Meir, known as Baba Meir, was born about August 1916 in Tafilalt, Morocco. Baba Meir's father was Rabbi Israel “Baba Sale” ABUCHAZERA and his mother was Frekha AMSALEM. His paternal grandparents were Rabbi Masud “Saba DeMishpatim” ABUCHAZERA and Ayisha Haya BEN-HEMO. He had two sisters, and also six siblings of unknown gender named Makhchi, Sarah, ABUCHAZERA, ABUCHAZERA, ABUCHAZERA, ABUCHAZERA, ABUCHAZERA and ABUCHAZERA. He was the oldest of the nine children. He had two half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Masud, Baba Baruch, ABUCHAZERA, Ester, Avigail, Pnina and Aliza. He died on March 31st, 1983 in Ashdod, Israel.
