Daniel was born on November 11th, 1816 in Scherpenheuvel.1  Daniel's father was Guilielmus Nolmans and his mother was Anna Maria Cloostermans.  His paternal grandparents were Martinus Nolmans and Anna Maria Smolders. He had three brothers and a sister, named Pierre, Joannes Baptista, Henricus and Jeanne.  He was the second youngest of the five children. He had a half-brother and seven half-sisters, named Petrus, Catharina, Anna Elisabeth, Barbara Maria, Josephina, Florentina, Isabella and Isabella.  He died at the age of 65 on May 11th, 1882 in Scherpenheuvel.
