Marie Catherine was born on May 5th, 1772 in Heusden.1   Marie Catherine's father was Jean François Gaethofs and her mother was Marie Elisabeth Daniels.  Her paternal grandparents were Antonius Gathoffs and Helena Schreven. She had four brothers named Joannes Anthonius, Petrus, Michael and Joannes Antonius.  She was the second youngest of the five children.  She died at the age of 37 on May 3rd, 1810 in Heusden.
