Maria Helena (Anna) Engelen 
Maria Helena, known as Anna, was born on February 23rd, 1799 in Zonhoven and her baptism took place there on February 23rd, 1799.1 2 Anna's father was Wilhelm (Guillaume) Engelen and her mother was Maria Anna Poels. She died at the age of 56 on February 15th, 1856 in Paal.2 
Anna and Hendrik Frans Remi were married in a civil ceremony on May 5th, 1817 in Paal.1 They had three sons and four daughters, named Lodewijk , Pieter Joseph, Karel, Maria Theresia, Maria, Julianna and Zuster Begga.
