Augustinus (Romanus) Broekmans 
Augustinus, known as Romanus, was born on June 22nd, 1834 in Tessenderlo.1 Romanus' father was Joseph Broekmans and his mother was Anna Coletta Vandeweyer. He died at the age of 44 on October 2nd, 1878 in Oostham.
‌Romanus and Maria Theresia were married in a civil ceremony on January 21st, 1864 in Paal.1 They had two sons and a daughter, named Joseph, Hendrik and Henrika.
