Catharina was born on August 4th, 1657 in Heusden Zolder.1   Catharina's father was Godefroid Bijnens and her mother was Catherina Gaethofs. She had two brothers and a sister, named Joris, Corneel and Elisabeth.  She was the oldest of the four children.
