Maria Carolina Ariën

Maria Carolina was born on July 13th, 1817 in Paal.¹   Maria Carolina's father was Henry Ariën and her mother was Anna Maria Gaethofs.  Her paternal grandfather was Gerard Ariën and her paternal grandmother is Anna Maria Vanzonhoven; her maternal grandparents were Petrus (Pierre) Gaethofs and Maria Schaenen (Schraenen). She had two brothers and four sisters, named Petrus Ludovicus, Petrus, Maria Victoria, Maria Joseph, Angelica and Maria Scholostia.  She was the third oldest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 75 on May 13th, 1893 in Lummen.²
